Introduction
Panera Bread Company is based out of Panera, LLC, a fast-food chain that has more than 2,000 locations across the United States and North America, including Panera Bread. Each Panera Bread restaurant serves soups, salads, and baked goods, but it’s mostly known for its sandwiches. I decided to eat a Panera Bread sandwich at every single one to determine which one I enjoyed most.
Let’s take a look at Best Panera Sandwiches So that you can choose the best one to enjoy your time!
List of some best Panera Sandwiches
Roasted turkey, apple, and cheddar sandwich
This sandwich boasts juicy roasted turkey breast, crisp apple slices, cheddar cheese was taken from the block, peppery arugula, as well as a little mustard for a delicious tang. I am always more than happy to include some pickle coins and spreads such as mayonnaise for even more flavor.
Roasted turkey and avocado BLT
Roasted turkey raised without antibiotics, Applewood-smoked bacon, emerald green, vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh avocado, mustard, salt, and pepper were eaten on Country Rustic sourdough bread.
Is Roasted turkey and avocado BLT healthy?
One serving of this dish that includes Roasted Turkey and Avocado counts as one SmartCarb, one PowerFuel, and one Extra on your Nutrisystem plan. While it can be a healthy alternative to traditional BLTs, it’s vital to keep track of it within your food journal for the best results.
Turkey Sandwich
The strong combination of the sandwich resulted in the overpowering fragrance of raw onions. The taste of the turkey was a bit forgettable throughout the meal, but the freshly sliced vegetables (greens, tomatoes, red onions, mayonnaise, and brownish mustard) were unable to compete with the robust outer layer of the veggies.
Mediterranean veggie sandwich
If you want to eat something small that does not require a fork, this is a handy choice for you. With Peppadew piquant peppers, feta, cucumbers, greens, tomatoes, red onions, hummus, salt, and pepper, this sandwich had a lot of different things going on.
Heritage ham and Swiss sandwich
In this place, Panera may have offered ham, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and maple mustard sauce for a healthy food option. I found the ham to be better than a number of the turkey sandwiches I tried, but it was not good enough to outdo the best.
Chipotle chicken avocado melt
I am not the biggest avocado fan, but when paired with pulled chicken, smoked Gouda, cilantro, Peppadew piquant peppers, and chipotle mayo, it was not bad. The sandwich was both sweet, and a little spicy, and it had a creamy texture in the center thanks to the avocado. The flavor of the chicken was stronger than in some of the other sandwiches.
Cuban sandwich (toasted)
The Cuban had a few aspects that I just didn’t like, specifically the lack of sweet pickles. This sandwich also included a combination of ham, mustard, shredded pork, and Swiss cheese, but the pickles and non-dipping mustard reduced its quality somewhat.
Steak and arugula sandwich
According to Panera’s online menu, the sandwich listed above is made with steak, arugula, tomatoes, pickled onions, garlic and herb cream cheese spread, and mustard horseradish sauce. The arugula was fresh, and the tangy, slightly sweet onions went well with the salty steak and the bread. Unfortunately, the first few bites were ruined by very, very cold slices of tomato.
Tuna salad sandwich
Tuna salad often gets a bad rap, yet as one of the more affordable options on the menu, it’s definitely worth a try. The most typical suspects of greens, tomatoes, and red onions will come back to balance the fish, and it’s a wet and delicious sandwich. The well-enough-breaded focaccia held this sandwich together while I ate it.
Napa almond chicken salad sandwich
An almond chicken salad sandwich consisted of diced chicken, celery, seedless grapes, almonds, a “special dressing,” lettuce, and tomatoes. The chicken salad itself was piquant and moist. Surprisingly, I ordered this a second time.
Frontega chicken panini (toasted)
This sandwich is composed of smoked, pulled chicken with mozzarella, tomatoes, red onions, chopped basil, and chipotle mayo on focaccia. The buttery and salty focaccia was a nice base for the moist chicken, melted cheese, and basil, but I wish there had been a bit more of everything. The Chicken Patana panini was one of my favorites, but not good enough to take it away from the flock.
Summary
Panera sandwiches are a delicious and healthy way to get your lunch. The options are wide-ranging, so there is something for everyone. The sandwiches are also very affordable, making them an ideal choice for budget-conscious consumers.
